Nocturnal Refractions is currently a collective home to 3 cliques, all of which do or have at sometime reflected my feelings about the world. Nocturnal Refractions has, over the years, hosted several cliques which I have since discontinued because they no longer resognate with me.

It is one of many sites I own and it hosted on my personal domain 7and1.net which also hosts Her Realm, my blog; Lyrical Musings, my writing blog; Wings of Steel, fanlisting for Collide; Sulfur, fanlisting for Katatonia; Guitar Goddess, fanlisting for Lita Ford; Real Love is Forever, clique for The Crow; and La Galerie, graphics portfolio.

Nocturnal Refractions has had only one layout and it features Bettie Page, a pin up from the 20's. Isn't she beautiful? The layout itself is a modification of a layout I made for a friend. She had some images, I put them together, picked some matcing colours, and voila. Unfortunately, she didn't like it. But I did. So I edited it, pretty heavily, and came up with this. Why Bettie? My friend wanted the black/white tinted images of a Louise Brooks. She was an actress in black and white films.. Anyway, I thought the idea looked really good. Hehe.
